XiiSEVEN BRAID AND BEAUTY BAR started out as CG HAIR&BEAUTY SALON. Both owned and founded by CHERRELL BRANCH who was, at that time a wife, business owner and mother of three young children. Her love for hair led her to Ogle School of Hair, Skin, and Nails in 2016 where she received her cosmetology license and transformed her former travel braiding business "BRAID ME BEAUTIFUL" to CG HAIR&BEAUTY SALON. In her years as a professional stylist she built amazing relationships with her clients, serviced several influencers, renowned gospel artist, and also worked with several different models in the fashion industry.

As time progressed, Cherrell saw a need and discovered that she not only had a love and a gift for hair but felt a very strong call to business women empowerment and braid education. As she met her new clients, she begin to empower, strengthen, and share her wealth of educational knowledge and business experience with them. Many business were both birthed and nurtured during this time. Cherrell also noticed the demand in the beauty education field. This soon led her into forming an official business in braid education and business mentorship. Cherrell still services her hair clients but also now offers braid education to not only prospective and current beauty professionals but also to children through her annual "Kids Braiding Camp".  She has taught in several cities around Texas and has mentored in many states.
